So despite both losing to Martinez. Both had him on the canvass.
While sergio will probably be out for some time now Chvaez team may want another fight. Pavlik has had enuogh confidence builders and wants to step up the opponet.

Both have a power and srength factor. Both are tall. Both could make 168.
Both will way the same on fight night approximately!
Both sets of hard core fans will be convinced their man is going to win.

What about the neutrals? I see a 50/50 and I say lets get it on :deal

Why not? The winner IS a player at SMW even if not an A-level contender, and it will surely bring fireworks.

I thought this is a fight that should have happened instead of Martinez. Pavlik and JCC JR are both still on proving grounds. Pavlik is apparently off the bottle and the world of boxing is waiting to see what he has left, and JCC is young and very tough, but many doubted he would pose a threat to Martinez.

however, now that both men have lost to Martinez this could be a great fight to see who deserves a rematch. So this is certainly a fight I would like to see.

They both aren't proven at SMW and this fight won't change **** if it happens.

It actually gives me goosebumps. Originally I thought Martinez would rip through JCC Jr. but I have a new respect for JCC as he posed a lot of problems for my favorite boxer. Pavlik is also one of my favorites but I honestly don`t know who I would be cheering for in that fight, I think it would be a great match though, tons of fireworks.

Change ****? No. Good **** for us fans? Yeah. Ppl. should stop criticizing every fight that does not change boxing's landscape.

JCC Jr should not be fighting at 160. Dude looked like Keira Knightley at the weigh in.

Yeah it is a good fight but the winner won't become any relevant at SMW, that was my point because you talked about A-contender & ****.

I wonder if that had an effect on the amount of punches he threw? He kind of relied on being being and powerful, if he trained to box instead of just going for the KO he might have had better results.

    Good fight.

I think Kelly could redeem himself.

Genuine 50/50 fight between two of my least liked boxers, but both can be good to watch and their styles would gel for a fan-friendly fight imo.

If the fight isn't any good they could just settle it in a drinking competition after the fight aswell. Perfect.

I could definitely see Chavez Jr getting KO'd and in brutal fashion. This time around, he would not have a 30lb advantage.
