that's just monte carlo. before last night Triple G/Chavez was the biggest fight that could be made outside of Pac/May.

Exactly. If it was an issue he would've been much more active.

I'm glad Fonfara was the one to take out the trash. If Golovkin had of gotten the fight, you would of simply had Golovkin fighting another tomato can, and getting grossly overhyped in the process.

because the americas are more captivated by image than talent. Triple G owns Chavez in Europe.

Chavez got his ass beat by the better fighter. He's not got the dedication needed to be a champion

7 million he would of made vs GGG? Surely that got to be more than Chavez JR has made in his whole career so far.

Actually he fights in front on 7 thousand at MSG and 10,000 at SHC. The fights in Monaco are part of his relationship with the nation's royal family.

I don't get it myself. He clearly lacks quality, but spending years bloated at middleweight and then looking small and moving up to light heavyweight. Why can't he just train normally and compete at super-middle. I'm guessing he doesn't fancy the division. Can't really see where he can go from this defeat - intrigued if some of you can offer some suggestions.

Probably loses both of those fights, Chavez stinks. Enzo looked alright against Brahmer, Campillo is still good but just got bombed out by one of the most dangerous punchers in all of boxing.

I don't think Junior will be a draw after last night. The guy quit. He told them to stop the fight. It was recorded. The fans in attendance booed and threw trash at him. Fans that were there to support and see him. One thing Mexican fan don't like is a quitter.
His paydays are over unless he scores series of knockouts facing top tier guys.

For those who say he doesn't need the money I call Bullsh*t. You know how many broke big payday athletes there are. Especially ones known for partying like Junior. If he didn't need the money he wouldn't waste his time stepping into the ring. He needs the money and doesn't know or have any other way to do it other then live of his dad's name.
