Ever see what Hatton looked like on the scales at 140??

He looked like a famine victim...didnt seem to ever affect him too much come fight night when he weighed 155.

as you're saying, Chavez is actually an overweight boxer...

he doesnt need to go up a weightclass, he needs to diet better and have better discipline in his eating habits... respectable boxers dont look "thick" outside of the boxing ring, even R&R

true, but it depends on when your body decides to give up on you, if he fatigues at any point in the fight and gets hit hard hes goin down

Looks normal for a guy thats pulling weight. I bet the water and gatorade he has been downing all day tastes incredible.

This pic is a great example. Ok, if we wholly erased all knowledge of JCC jr, you would take a look at this boxer and acknowledge... Yeah, this guy looks pretty sharp - not weight drained. This is normalcy.

Now taking our previous knowledge of JCC jr and now apply the visual of JCC jr our brain is trained to remember.... and now we think he looks emaciated.

No. That's not normal. He's lost any muscles he had. His looks like a different person from the Lee fight. His arms are puny.

It's ok though. He has his peds so he will get upto 180+ on fight night. He's still knows he's lost though.

    He's gonna get annihilated.

Yes, diet better. Or just slack off and move up to SMW or LHW.

I am not buying this "weight drained" BS because he weighed 158lbs. Is not like Chavez Jr. is moving down a division or two, he has being fighting at 160lbs for awhile now. Its maybe just that, that he was able to diet better and get into a better discipline. We will see how it plays it out tomorrow.

I just don't want any excuses from either fighter. I am expecting a war and I am pumped for this fight! And ofcourse I want Martinez to win!

After Dawson looked great and was toast on fight night, I'm inclined to withhold judgment.

Thats because what you remember from that fight is a fully re-hydrated Chavez Jr, Take a look at the weigh in :deal

hmmm, isnt this STILL at the same weightclass? How can he look big coming in one fight and not in another fight? Im not saying that you were wrong in your Lee fight observation.

But it does support that he isn't consistent on his training or diet... obviously he took Lee more seriously. Mebbe he was anticipating on losing this fight and didnt bother to put in a strong effort like he did against Lee. Those 24/7's are pretty revealing...

His arms looked bigger there. He was a pound heavier weighing in. On fight night he somehow gets over 180 pounds.

He looked the exact same on the scales against Lee.

And how, prey tell, will taking peds now, help him put weight on???????????

Unless he literally takes pounds of pills that make him heavier.

He'll put the weight on like every other boxer in history who has cut weight. He'll drink plenty of fluids and have a few good, solid meals between now and tomorrow night, and VOILA!

If he was taking PEDs, he's be taking them in camp to increase strength and endurance,or taking diuretics in the week leading up to help him lose weight.

What exactly do you think 1 day of PED using will do for him,or anyone else for that matter.
