Funny how Malinaggi looks like the stronger man at the weigh-in. And we all know that wasn't the case come fight night. Just sayin...

Cotto was comfortable at the weight and ended up movin up whilst it took Malignaggi another couple of years to follow suit

Chavez on the other hand looks Anorexic! his stomach is going in like an ethiopian child!

Sergio is going to win by decapitation

You take peds it increases appetite. Weight comes on quicker. It's why he balooned up last time to 180 after he weighed in at 159 for the Lee fight. Many medications have side effects like that.

I hate to say it because i really don't like the man, but Julio Cesar Chavez Jr has proved me wrong. I've been watching him since the very start of his career and always maintained that he wouldn't do anything in the sport of boxing and that he wouldn't reach world level, and here he is headlining a PPV for the legit Middleweight championship of the world.

He hasn't faced great competition to get here and he has certainly been on the right end of a few questionable decisions (Zbik and Vanda I for starters), but he has also beat some decentish fighters in Rubio and Lee aswell as Manfredo.

I hope Sergio knocks him the **** out (i have a £20 bet on Sergio KO/TKO, Gonzalez KO/TKO and Maidana points which wins £630) and i would view it as a victory for boxing if he did, but Chavez has achieved more than i thought he would. He called for this fight, not Arum. In fact, Arum didn't want this fight and Chavez pushed for it by all accounts.

All that said, WAR SERGIO!!! Knock this guy out, Serg!

In 27 hours? Not 21 lbs. Maybe 4-5 lbs of glycogen (that's a guess) due to carbo-loading, but the weight primarily comes from rehydrating.
