    Contract weight was 169, but he weighed 167.8.

    Good to see hes at least being disciplined again.

    It's a bad day when "fighter makes weight" is newsworthy but, in this guys case, it is.

    Yeah, I was shocked reading he made weight! He does look in great shape, and hopefully this is a new beginning for him.

    im actually interested to see if people think him vs golovkin early 2017 could be ppv worthy?

    on one hand its chavez...and he usually brings fans......on the other side i wonder if that would be too soon giving his inactivity and level of competition......i guess depending on how good he looks coming back....id probably pay for it....i think its an interesting option for both parties to look into...def an interesting option for golovkin...i dunno how interested chavez would be at that point though...he might be looking for a few more fights
