this could be a trap fight but if it goes the distance itll be a robbery plus im sure the ref will help

I expect this to be a hotly contested and entertaining fight. I don't know where people get this "spoon-fed" idea. Manfredo is a good fighter, and has a real shot at winning.

However, it should be Rubio getting the shot. He has won like 3 fights the WBC said were "eliminators."

Damn straight! :D I was talking about his lad though, battle of the famous fathers. HBO or Showtime would be all over it like a rash.

How the f*ck does Chavez Jr. boil down to 160 without collapsing in the ring? The guy is a borderline LHW. JCCJr will be too big. Plus, he'll have the ref and judges on the payroll. As I've said before, Manfredo could knock Jr. the f*ck out and still lose a close UD.

going to be a slugfest. Will root for Manfredo to end this sham but on the other hand i want to see Canelo-Chavez when both are still unbeaten. It'll pop another huge rating for HBO with last week's replay opening up.

If Pacquiao can but on 16 pounds or so then it actually doesn't surprise me that much.

Will only watch a replay or something if hopefully Manfredo knocks him into a permanent coma. Though of course, if that was likely they wouldn't have taken this fight.

I sure hope you're wrong. I'll be rooting for Manfredo, but apart from everything else I want to see honest judging and good work by the ref. Boxing is killing itself with controversy.

Willl be watching but not with excitement. One of the shittiest headlining cards on HBO in eons. We already know who wins the fight, JCC just needs to stay on his feet at the end of round 12 and it's his gift regardless of what happens.

I am not that impressed. It was a good handpicked fighter for Chavez Jr. If he cannot beat Manfredo who should not be a champion, then Chavez Jr. really is not any good. I think he is good enough. I like his spirit in the ring. I don't think he is just this made up fighter. But I don't think he is as good as his father or near it.
