These are but a few of the suprising number of legendary boxers with no biographies (in English anyway) that I discovered when embarking on a collection of boxing biographies. Also of note is only one book devoted to Henry Armstrong that by most accounts could have been better. What gives?

I think there is a French biography of Monzon called El Macho?

Did a search on Monzon and there is some kind of publication on him by Frederic P. Miller which appears to be in English. May be a compilation some sort rather than a bio?

Wiki compilation. There appears to a book in French for Monzon, but that's it. Weird to see books on Choynski, Flowers, and Bivins but not these guys...

Christian Giuidice who did Hands of Stone and Beloved Warrior (Arguello) is working on a Ruben Olivares bio.

That's the one called El Macho.

Wouldn't have thought it would be too much of a task for someone to translate it into English?
