Bill Butcher = Scottish bottom boy. Don't you guys wear skirts? End of you :****...please leave :hi:

Salvador Sanchez was soo young when he died..I think thats the reason why he doesn't get that credit. Sanchez, Duran, Arguello, Monzon are all better Latin fighters to me than Chavez. I will say this, JCC had an awesome body attack...Im not trying to take anything way from him as a fighter, Im just trying to say he is extremely overrated by his fans and countrymen.

Yeah I agree too especially when considering their accomplishments compared to Chavez's. Don't mind the people bashing this thread if they hate it so much they didn't have to read it and post in the first place. Probably Chavez nuthuggers:lol:

Probably bc your one of the ***gots that is gonna think his son is an ATG after he beats Manfredo twice and old Winky Wright and draws Sergio Martinez. Get the **** out, this thread was made for the people who realize JCC's record is fabricated. He really wasnt that amazing.

I know who you listed but are you saying that any of those fighters are better than Whitaker, Taylor or DLH?

  9. Oscar and Margo are up there on the fraud list.

i see your point i just don't happen to agree. i have levied arguments against chavez myself but his resume is filled with many good not great names and he's arguably the second best pressure fighter of all time (behind armstrong, if you consider him a pressure fighter)

his win against rosario is for me his best win and the single greatest example of pressure fighting i've ever seen. dangerousity outlined his resume pretty well and even though i love meldrick taylor, that can't detract for his otherwise brilliant career.

he's the greatest mexican fighter ever, top 2 pressure fighter ever, pound for pound top 5 for at least 5 years. pretty impressive (though to rate him in the top 15 is a stretch, top 30 for me)

I agree, bc I also made a thread a few months ago about DLH not being as good as people think either. I got a similar response. I have to take in to consideration the emotional attachment that homosexual boxing fans have towards the men they day dream about all day.

greatness is determined by body of work an your thread was not if those fighters were beter but since you asked jose louis ramirez, bazooka limon, ruben castillo, hector camacho all on par an sweet pea, taylor are among unlisted former champs i mentioned an oscar beat julio but was at least 3 years to late to be the ultra competitive match everyone wanted so to answer your actual thread he is unequalivialitly undeniably GREAT GREATNESS PERSONIFIED

Points taken. I think he was a brilliant body puncher and I think he was better than and is better than 80 percent of boxers all time. But Im not buying this top 10 ATG or even top 20 ATG talk. I just dont see it at all, thats my point.

Let me ask you this. I saw their fight when I was a kid but I wasn't in to boxing politics at the time. Whats the reason why he didn't fight Whitaker in a rematch? ?
