Exactly a body of work. His body of work was 70 percent nobodies. What type of body of work is that. Look at his son now, its the exact same formula again...and when its all said and done is son will be one ofthe best fighters in the world? 40-0 and not top 10 in his division? Same **** man, believe it if yall want, Im not going for it.

honestly? it was a little before my time but probably the same reason he wanted until taylor was shot to **** before he'd rematch: he'd lose. maybe he could have taken meldrick, maybe not. but he was never going to beat pernell and the first match proved it.

chavez was past prime in 93 and at welter. time was not going to help him in the least and whitaker would have been more keen to prove the point in the rematch. i see a second fight in 94 being along the lines of 11 rounds to 1 for sweet pea, with him outlanding chavez 4 to 1 in the final round, making the ref consider a stoppage.

at chavez's best he would have had a solid shot at either KT or oscar, though oscar would have always troubled him. the 90 verson of chavez picks up a win over kosta personally.

but your point is well made: his resume, for one of the most revered athletes of all time, lacks a definitive win and any real HOFs

Sanchez was fantastic, and if push came to shove, I would rate Duran and Arguello a good bit higher than Chavez.

Nonetheless, Chavez was a very good if not great--- I can already hear FreddyWak banging on his keyboard in response! :rofl-- fighter.

I don't see the big deal about Chavez and his son is a total disgrace to the sport of boxing.

Deep breath homo..its gonna be ok.

It wasn't 20, it was more like 15 and some of them were fighters like Roger Mayweather lol he beat a lot of stepping stone fighters. He was so far out of green when he fought his first fight that mattered it is actually comical. Of that 15 you listed how many of them are ATG's? Actually how many are HOF's? You see, it starts to dwindle down when you start using that as your basis of why he is so great. His unbeaten streak is a ****en joke to me! Although it is used by Chavez nuthuggers like yourself. Look at where and how it started and how long it carried on for. ITS BULL****, sorry if your gay ass doesnt recognize it. Now please kill yaself

Make whatever excuses you have to, its the same **** his dad did. I guarantee you he is gonna be cherry picking once he gets out in the field and starts fighting the big boys.

JCC had a style that kind of reminds me of Carlos Monzon , doesnt look quick , doesnt look like he hits hard, but does everything well , and it cannot be denied he put on some great nights ,i think he deserves to be one of the greats.
