Totally agree. All his step-up fights were controversial as well, even ones he lost. Ali had 61 fights and you saw how he ended up, that's because his fights were all against quality opposition and guys that hit him as hard as he hit them not cabdrivers that aren't even professional boxers, you want to convince me this guy fought over 100 quality opponents?

Check out this ape trying to defend none other than the worst fighter possibly EVER in Chavez Jr.

Jr. needs robberies against the cabdrivers his father made a career impressing drunken losers like your family on free TV, at least Sr. needed controversy and robberies when he stepped up a bit, his son needs robberies and trilogies against part time tomato cans.

Thank you, somebody with common sense. Do you see the names they list off as the greats he defeated..HOF caliber? REALLY? A belt doesnt make you HOF to me. Maybe to Mexicans and JCC lovers but not to me.

JCC=great fighter I dont deny his career of having greatness but he is really overrated and without the loads and loads of cans he beat I doubt he would receive the attention he does. Case closed

Are u that ****en stupid to where u cant make up an insult on your own dumbass? Show some originality...stop riding the next mans pecker dummy.

Sit down, chill out, and try and think as to why you just acted with so much hostility. Maybe we can have a civilized conversation afterward.

If you had an open mind I might be willing to fill you in as to why you're wrong about the man. Am I right in thinking you don't want to hear it?

I have an open mind. I believe he is a great fighter with a padded record that makes him appear a lot greater than what he is.

Well I rank Julio Cesar Chavez amongst the top 40 fighters of all time, without him breaking into a top 35. The man's record in championship fights is simply astounding by anyone's standards, and whereas most elite fighters of that time were in the Gym, Julio preferred to iron out his skills in the Boxing ring and therefore fought twice as many times as most world class operators. That's actually a good thing in my estimation, but he fails to penetrate the top 30 because his signature wins are against great fighters of their own time as opposed to of all time.

I need some perspective, Hitta. Whereabouts do you actually rank Julio Cesar Chavez?
