The thing I have against Chavez is that on his 50+ pro fights, he was still fighting guys with records 5-2, 4-3, 5-3. This is a guy who have already surpassed Marciano's record is already a world champ and for him to fight less than tomato can - level fighters is just totally unforgivable.

 

He was a great fighter. Did not fight many greats but he would have had he had the chance. The great thing about Chavez was that he committed to the punch. He was not afraid to get hit and his experience made him tough to hit clean or knock out.

Are you that unknowledgeable to even know who the long list of those quality fighters are? Or that he has won over 30 title fights? Name me all the fighters that have made that many title defenses in 3 different weight classes,yeah he fought a few tomatoe cans in Non title defenses but not when he defended the title Over 30 times they were against quality contenders!!!
