Ask around. No one will agree with you. People who don't know the first thing about boxing or even sports in general know who the **** Mike Tyson is. People in Asia, Europe, Africa, New Zealand, Iceland, ****in Aborigines know who the **** Mike Tyson is.


Yeah he was controversial, but he is still the most popular face in modern boxing. Was he the best? Nah. Oscar has accomplished more. But you can't take that away from Mike.

That's inaccurate to say the least. I was in a movie theatre and whent he preview for The Hangover Movie was on and Tyson shows up, the place went nuts. He's still a big deal even in retirement.

 

Tyson is way more famous than Oscar. ODLH is famous, but Tyson is Elvis-Sinatra famous.

 

I live in Australia.

My wife and my mother know who Mike Tyson is. Could pick him from a mile away.

If ODLH knocked on our door, my wife wouldn't know him from a bar of soap. Seriously. She'd think he was there to sell us Pay TV or ask us to switch phone companies.

MIke Tyson is many, many times more famous than Oscar.
