Wild day at wretched WBC convention, where Chavez ordered to fight @maravillabox next & @THEREALBHOP-@OfficialBadChad rematch ordered.

There's no money in a fight between Dawson and Hopkins, that's the reality. As well as being a tedious spectacle for all five minutes it lasted, Dawson acted like such a complete dick post-fight I'd prefer he never fights again.

Martinez deserves the money and exposure fighting Chavez brings, but it's too big a risk for such an unfinished fighter. He's big enough to cause problems though...

Since sparking P-Dub, Sergio's career has been a total letdown.

First Barker, then Chavez? Come off it.

Heard rumours he was fighting Macklin as well, FFS

Provided Rubio takes care of Vanda I take it. Barring Vanda somehow pulling it off I agree, another good fight where Jr's slowly stepping it up. Rubio's been on a good run since the Pavlik battering(he's won like 8 on the spin I think), though in saying that - despite the fact he won - Lemieux showed that any serious prospect/fringe contender should probably beat him. I'd like to see Chavez stopping him, it's definitely a realistic aim IMO.

Honestly, there's fewer things in boxing I'd love more than Chavez Jr shutting people up and actually establishing himself as one of the best at middle. He gets tarred by heaps of people as ''overrated'', despite being one of the most underrated and disliked guys out there! Though I think us two(the Brit forum's JCC JR Fan Club it seems) have gone over that already.

    Dibella's dropping the ball.

  12. To be honest though it's practically impossible to move him.

A bit like Hagler in the 70's, there's no point fighting him if you didn't have to, because he'd probably beat you. If you did win you wouldn't get much recognition for it.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Chavez vacate and move up to 168 to avoid it.

To be fair to him [Martinez], there aren't that many people out there.

But I agree with jpab19. I'd love to see Chavez Jr prove everyone wrong. Beating Martinez, or at least giving him a good fight, would be hilarious.
