this fight and the great undercard was my first pay per view that I payed for......King definitely had some marathon fight cards during the early and mid 90's... I thought that the knockdown of Chavez was the clincher and knew that Randall would win on points..the third fight looked rough for Randall and I thought he was going to lose if I recall correctly.... Randall proved to be the better fighter in his matches with Chavez in my opinion regardless of the outcomes...
The first fight was like watching Tyson Holyfield. The knockdown sealed the deal even though they tried to rob Randall. Frankie deserved the glory hes a super cool guy and a little bit of an under acheiver.
Only one guy that I know of. Unfortunately, he happened to be one of the judges. I thought Randall should've got the decision in the rematch as well, although he really should've won by TKO IMO, as Chavez appeared to quit.
The second fight was a terrible disgrace as King's influence led to it being stolden from Franky ... horrible **** ... I do not know what happened in the third ...
Chavez-Randall 1 Chavez: 1, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12 Randall: 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 11. Round 7 (10-8), Round 11 (10-7) Final: 114-111 Randall
randall clearly won the first fight and i think the second was close but i would just give the edge to randall the third fight i thought chavez won
The second fight really was a disgrace, Chavez quit and it should have been a TKO, Randall won the first and I've never seen the third
