Me, You and most of those *****ing about Canelo will be there when the GGG fight is made. It's what's kept boxing going for so long.

I'm a long time boxing fan who has been jaded by the whole business aspect of this "sport" and have accepted it for what it really is, and that is simply, sports-based entertainment.

So as far as the Canelo/Smith fight, if it is on regular HBO, that's great, if it is on PPV, Yes I will buy it the same as I would pay for any GGG fight since they're always entertaining inside the ring.

I come from a big family and we always throw boxing parties, especially on big boxing weekends like Cinco de Mayo and Sept 16 weekends.

But you and all the other good conscientious boxing fans can go ahead and boycott this if you like:good

Canelo is a joke now, he is getting shredded by the vast majority of boxing fans, there's still a few morons defending him but that's to be expected.

Chavez Sr is 24 carat Mexican legend so when he speak Mexican boxing fans listen. If Canelo had fought Golovkin and had got beaten the Mexcians would have forgiven him but they won't forgive this blatant duck and this embarrassment.

    Calm yo ass down lol

Canelo is 25 years old, just entered his prime. He'll continue to put on great shows win or lose.

Canelo's marketability isn't based on being undefeated or a supposed unstoppable force..

He has a loss and has had two very close fights with Lara and Trout, and people still tune in. He's not fake, we know his strengths and his weaknesses because he's been tested against a good variety of skill levels ranging from top young fighters to prime top fighters to old crafty vets.

Golovkin, while possessing and obvious skill set that seperates him from most of the MW division, is a lot of hype when you consider his craft is yet to be tested against worthy opposition. HBO has been hyping him for years now, at least 4 good solid years of him being this force, but all that rah rah is unproven, and most sensible people know this. That's why he barely sold 150K ppvs.

If GGG ever loses or looks very vulnerable then his marketability takes a temenedous hit because HBO and K2 have sold him as a feared unstoppable wrecking machine... Once the machine loses he becomes just another fighter who fought way too many bums who lost when he stepped up.

 IMO... Given GBP's choices of Canelo's last two opponents, Canelo is likely one loss away from becoming irrelevant in contending for a MIDDLEWEIGHT BELT.

:rofl Couldn't happen to a more deserving group than GBP.

Oh look another part time business expert :think when Canelo is mentioned these part time business experts pop up everywhere

The very same part time business expert that told me I was talking rubbish when I said a long time ago Canelo Vs Smith was happening.

With respect I'm not that interested in what you say, in my opinion you haven't got a clue what's going on.

Makes a lot more sense than what you're presenting.

Look at patterns and you'll realize the biggest pattern is HBOs and K2s refusal of matching GGG against someone with real skill.

Another pattern is Canelo has proven time and time again as has GBP that they will take very risky fights against top opposition regardless of style matchups.

I may not be a pro business ****yst or expert but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see things for what they really are.
