Most people/99% are blown up/obese/slow/weak peasants

From a boxing POV after 17 you only put on 100% garbage weight, thats only suitable for slow pushing labor, not elite level boxing

    Need Mexican examples?

    • Eric Morales Mar 1993 (16 yo) pro-Debut 123
    • Eric Morales Sep 2000 (24 yo) Vacates 122 WBC belt

    • Sal Sanchez Oct 1976 (17 yo) 126 vs Saul Montana
    • Sal Sanchez July 1982 (23 yo) 126 ATG

Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. was preparing his son for the Throne, but the weak bloodline from his mother side took over, he smoked weed, got hungry & sought happiness instead of making 130 & following the guidance of JCC sr

It's amazing how he seems to speak so clearly after all those fights and drug abuse.

I grew 6" in the six months before I turned 18. Doing that without putting on non-"garbage weight" would have been tricky.

lol JCC Jr is (even when in shape) a pretty heavily-built 6' (or slightly more) tall man. How was he gonna keep fighting at 130??? He only ever made 130-147 because he was a skinny kid and his body wasn't done filling out.

I understand all of the comments about Jr lacking motivation, being out of shape etc, but ultimately the reason he struggled to make 160 (let alone lower weights) is just because of his natural size. From about 23-24 onwards Jr was a 180-185lb man when in shape, killing himself to make 160.

I doubt Chavez Sr. publicly dissing his son will do anything for Jr.

It takes a hunger that runs deep to be great.

For as undisciplined as he's been, I'm surprised Jr. even won a world title.

What Chavez Sr. should do now is get his son in the ring and give him a major beatdown, as I seriously doubt even today that Jr. could beat his dad head to head.

"Son, what I'm going to do right now is beat your ass, and afterward, you're going to go home and stay home.!"

If you don't have the hunger and desire, you don't have nothing in boxing.

His JCC is right if you don't have the desire get out of the sport before you get hurt.

It's a real shame too... Even with such good trainers like Roach, Garcia and even his dad with advice, nothing really motivated him I guess...

99% of Mexicans don't grow taller after 17yo
94% of Europeans don't grow taller after 17yo

The 1% Meixcans & 6% Europeans that do grow after 17yo, usually never exceed an 1.5 inch in Growth

    Your case you either have:
    • Unintentional hormonal imbalance (Gigantsim)
    • Intentional hormonal imbalance (HGH)

Any weight you gain after 17yo is garbage weight from a boxing pov

Filling it out to be what :huh
He made the weight, he had to keep it & let his body harden up & condense into powerful muscles at that age, instead of "filling up into" 135, 140, 147, 154, 155, 160, 168, 175

Doughy boy had his dad iron chin though & its the only reason he was able to move up with ease :smoke
