For the record, Chavez Sr. is'nt disrespecting anyone by offering Jr. advice in the corner.
A few fights back Roach went on record stating he did'nt have a problem and actually welcomed Sr. offering his son advice in the gym or in the corner at the fights.

Personally I think Sr. offering Jr. tactical reminders before and during the fight is great for Jr.

Did you guys not notice before the fight in the dressing room Sr. reiterating waist and swivel movements to his son. It looks like to me that Sr. is helping his son on the defensive end of the mindset spectrum and reminding his son defense is important.

"You're getting hit too much son." is'nt much to offer as advice.
In the heat of battle defense sometimes gets thrown out the window.
Sometimes a fighter needs to get reminded just of the basics on defense.
Chavez Sr. offered those reminders both before and during the fight.

An official from the Texas commision seems like he asked Chavez not to walk to Jr's corner.
    The nerve of that clown.
Sr. is going to have to fix that next time. He needs to get himself registered as a cornerman even though he's not planning to work the corner, just in case he wants to occasionally walk up to offer advice.

No question Srs. advice to Jr. last night helped tremendously.

he was only out of line if freddie thinks so, and we'll never know that because freddie would never speak out against him, but thinking about it from chavez sr's perpective, that is his son, and he wants his son to win, so I can understand why he would feel compelled to say something if he saw his son doing the wrong things or thought he could do other things in the ring to look better.

It was clesrly out of line by chavez sr. Roach is the trainer not him. Yes he's the father and all that but its no excuse of out of no where go to a fighters corner and ask him what to do when its the trainer's job to do that or the trainers helper like ariza. Does any other fathers that isnt a trainer to his son ever went to the sons corner and did the same thing like chavez sr?

This is for Jr, Sr, and Roach to decide.

Are you saying Chavez is not one of the best fighters of all time ?

If he was fighting today in his prime he`d be the best p4p fighter in the world, that *** in your avater & his partner in shame Pacquiao would have to argue (since they won`t fight) for 2nd place, believe it.

Of course you will defend this cause you kiss up to both chavezs behind. If he wants to give chavez jr advice then yell it sitting with the crowd, not go to his sons corner and disrespecting roach like that. If chavez sr wants to give his advice all the time and go to his son corner then be a part of chavez jr's team and officially be his trainer. Isnt that soo hard?

you and freddy should have a competition on who has the better life, post pics of your life, where you live, who you hang out with etc etc and freddy will do the same.

    that should sort things out.
