"Why does he look for easy opponents or those that are not at his weight? Pacquiao he can fight with, yes, but for the money," Chavez Sr said. "You know when Pacquiao is going to beat him? Never! He believes that Mexicans are going to want this, to the contrary, they go with Pacquiao. Pacquiao is smaller than me, is he crazy or what?"

almost everyone will be supporting Pac in this one, and that includes a lot of former DLH fans. The man is nothing but a slimy self-serving *****....some of us have said it all along, the mentally-challenged are now seeing it too.

**** me, I really don't get this Oscar bashing.

The guy himself started at a weight far lower than the 160 he eventually fought at, against the best guy at 160 (Hopkins).

Anyone saying "Oscar doesn't take on challenges" is ****ing crazy.

How is Pacquaio facing Oscar any different to Oscar facing Hopkins?

Because Oscar was an unnaturally big man for a 130 lbs fighter. He was huge compared to the guys he fought earlier in his career.

It seemed like it would be more natural for him to go up weight classes, because of his frame.

It's not like he was a stocky 5'6 130 pounder and when he went up divisions as he grew older, he was just a fat, ballooned up lightweight.

He's a naturally thicker, bigger framed guy.

id agree with you in that for almost all of his career hes faced the best boxing had to offer. but the fact that his final two fights were at WW against guys whose biggest victories were at FW is ridiculous.

I agree with JCC, I'm hoping Pac has been touched by the hand of god and beats ODLH's ass.

Oscar hasn't fought at welter in a minute, so Manny might have a chance if he brings some better defense and can hang in there for twelve rounds.
But one thing is for sure Mexico is backing the "Mexicutioner" just cuz Oscar didn't give Margo ( the avenger of Chavez) the fight he deserved.

You've got Hopkins, a guy who was capable of dominating (not just beating) a BIG sized Light Heavyweight ( Antonio Tarver )

He was a big Middleweight himself.

Oscar fights him, Oscar does OK til that infamous body shot.

Oscar, generally for the last 15 fights, has fought some of the better names boxing has to offer, he sees an opportunity here to fight the P4P #1.

He takes it, and suddenly he's a chicken **** who hand selects his opponents?

You do know Manny's proportions are around about the same as Ricky Hatton's right?

Not sure about this one....despite hatred for DLH, mexican fans and just fans in general have seen Manny hand a beatdown to JMM, MAB, EM, all more than once. So I wouldnt be surprised if they forget DLHs gayness and support him to beatdown the "mexicutioner"

Yeah, so do alot of people. :rofl I wasn't rooting for Margarito, JM22. I picked him to win the fight - no, everybody is not a nationalist or a fanboy. Well, almost nobody. I think there's about 4 people here that aren't. I picked Calderon last night. He won too. That's all I'm trying to do. I don't live in Cupey Alto though. I live in Northern California. Tito Trinidad lives in Cupey Alto. :rofl
