How can anyone defend this fine, it's a ****ing joke they robbing him blind, that **** needs to be reduced
Using that logic, why wait for the a second offense? Lets just fine anyone a million dollars for their first offense, that way they will think twice before lighting it up or cutting it up before a fight.
Well if their goal is to stop repeat offenders, why not fine him a million on the first failed test? On a second offense, they can ask for everything he has. He has to learn somehow.
I still don't understand the magnitude of the punishment he's receiving . Almost 1 million for smoking weed? Wtf...
this is the answer to the problem tell them to go **** them selves and fight in Texas, Cali and Mexico for the rest of his career, **** come to NY I would love to see him again 900K is ****ing absurd send them a $90 dollar check and tell them that the 0 key on their keyboard must be stuck, please get that **** fixed
Nick Diaz just tried to do the same thing, didn't work out to well for him. http://mmafrenzy.com/31745/nick-diazs-nsac-lawsuit-thrown-out/
It seems very high but he broke the rules he tested positive for something illegal, not a performance enhancer but something that could get you in real legal trouble and on top of that he did it twice and even further he has had other moments of suspicion I like Chavez and root for him most of the time but the fine is just
I've no problem with the fine but I've got a problem with the consistency. Vargas earned twice as much as JCC but his fine is little more than a tenth of JCCs. Fines should be calculated on a fixed percentage of the offender's purse. I would expect the punishment of a repeat offense to be more severe but this seems relatively disproportionate.
I don't understand this logic. Are you ok with the commission fining JR. 2 million? 3 million? what if they just banned him all together? would those punishments be ok with you?
Good news. Hope this scumbag is suspended indefinitely after this hilarious attempt. The sport doesn't need more shameless cheaters.
He isnt going to fail, what Nevada is doing is using their status to extort money out of this kid. He did not use any steroids he smoked a ****ing joint maybe two or three or four. 900k is an insane amount for a drug that is legalized in 2 or 3 states right now and decriminalized in most states... Consider Fernando Vargas was only fined 100k for his steroid use, and Mosley was never fined for his admitted steroid use..... Chavez will win this, he may not be able to fight in Vegas again they may not be so kind to him but who gives a ****... 900k is an insane amount to charge anybody for some ****ing weed
