Looks like Top Rank & Banner promotions are both on board for a possible rematch tentatively scheduled for a possible Dec 14th date.

it looks like the Mexican-Americans watch the most boxing over there.

how else do you explain it getting more viewers than Stevenson/Cloud?

I know that, but HBO used to blow Showtime's numbers away

What? This wasn't a PPV. It cost already having an HBO subscription.

Bobfather is now saying that IF HBO don't want to pony up or have that date (Dec 14th) available then he will/might put the rematch on PPV.

I have to wonder- with Chavez's viewership declining, it may only be a matter of time before they let judges score his fight honestly.

    Hey, a guy can dream.

I never talk like this on forums, but Bob Arum has to be out of his ****ing mind if he puts this on PPV.

Not that he ever had it, but he's losing it for sure.

What a coincidence-same date as the proposed **** PPPV Showtime card featuring Broner vs Maidana.

They still do. Broner was the only guy on showtime to pass 1 mil.

wrong, Cotto vs Trout did over a million and Canelo vs Trout did 1.1 million.

Plus you should see the numbers they did last year

Chavez Jr vs Marco Antonio Rubio 1.9 million
Chavez Jr vs Andy Lee 1.6 million
    Donaire vs Arce 1.3 million
Amir Khan vs Garcia 1.3 million
Sergio Martinez vs Macklin 1 million
Andre Ward vs Dawson 1.3 million
Adrien Broner vs Rees 1.4 million
Andre Berto vs Guerrero 1.1 million

    these were all in 2012
