Chavez vs Cotto on October 1 or October 8, Says Arum

Can't wait for the November 2012 Pacquiao-Cotto rematch at 155 for the middleweight championship of the world.

 

I dont know the reason but Cotto-Marg 2 cancel it two or three weeks ago if a remember correct.

For this fight Cotto **** him up so badly. Shows how hit to the body.

 

if Cotto fights him at 160 Cotto is a stupid mother****er and deserves the beatdown, if its at 154 bring it on Im pulling for Cotto. Its that simple let Sergio or Priog handle that ass at 160/180

 

Nah I'm getting my thoughts from what he and Steward elaborated on before the Mayorga fight and how he performed. I'd say the Mayorga Cotto fought beats Chavez actually, and he uses his size and big punching power much more unpredictably and difficult than Chavez Jr. Would. The Cotto of today may be less of a bull, but he's learned patience and can both box smart and go at it with a bigger man on the inside because of his superior skill. Chavez can't lean on something that won't stay put, and he won't want to try and land on something that hits him back better.

I think Cotto may have been struggling with 147, but eventually he may end up there. Who knows, I think it depends on the best fights offered. Him against Ortiz would be great.
