Rosario could bang with either hand and was arguably the hardest one punch knockout power of his era and from Puerto Rico. Butttttttt his money punch was the hook.

Chavez wins at 130, though he himself was somewhat green there. I feel he was at his best in his short stint at 135, which he showed against Rosario in a fantastic and dominant performance. At 140 Oscar has a better chance as he was in his prime there and had the tools to keep Chavez off. At his 140 pound best though, Chavez would give Oscar much more problems than the faded and shot versions Oscar faced in the mid 90's. I'd only clearly favor Oscar at WW.

mAYBE BECAUSE if he did stay at those lower weights and someone there actually took his punches and took him to the later rounds he wouldn't be able to hang. When fighters struggle to make a weight they have to sacrifice alot. Yes they have power but the downside to that is that they lose their conditioning much faster, where as if they fight at a much natural weight like WW their conditioning improves. Oscar's power was good but his legs and conditioning would betray him at 130 135 and maybe 140.
