    I saw both fighters in their primes many times & Duran Kayos Chavez every time! Duran was the greatest lightweight ever & one of 10 best of all time!

    First Chaves was light weight late in his career Duran was a natural that is why he jumped to welter skipping the junior later he went to middle and super middle vs Hagler,Barkley,Moore his resume is hard to beat as a welter vs Leonard,Benitez,Cuevas,Hearns,De jesus to answer the qustion I will pick Duran any time over Chaves just bigger and stronger.

    Chavez had a better chance at beating Duran at 140 not 135.

    Duran did'nt beat Wilfred Benitez he lost by UD,but obviously that should have no bearing on the outcome of a fantasy fight between Duran and Chavez mainly because Chavez and Benitez were two very diffrent fighters skills wise. I like Duran by UD in this fight.
