Floyd Mayweather Jr. Would pick Julio Ceaser Chavez Sr. apart as he comes to him. Mayweather is also fast Chavez has problems with speed see Prenell Whitaker and Meldrik Taylor two fights in which Chavez escaped with favroball results. Everyone seems to say that the Jose Luis Castilio method is the way to beat Mayweather. I disagree with those people and those who say Castlilo won their first fight. Mayweather by decision wining 9/12 rounds.

Chavez would murder Floyd, especially in the late rounds. That is from 130-140.

At 147, it's Floyd's game. I find it interesting that people quote the Whitaker fight as the way to beat Chavez. Chavez came in at 142 for Whitaker, which took the strength factor away. Chavez was also at the tail end of his career and has a losing record at that 147. Even at the end of his career he made 140 for KT.

The Taylor fight is also a known issue because it's a totally different style in which Mayweather wouldn't bother to try because he wouldn't have the fire power to hold of Chavez. He definitely has the handspeed and in-fighting technique. In the end it proved disastrous for Taylor, just as it would for Mayweather.

No neutral fan agrees with you on the JLC I result, all of us think it was a robbery.

can you name me one, just one fighter that doesn't have problems with speed.....go ahead, i'll wait

chavez has the perfect style to get to floyd, and no to mention his iron chin....the difference with chavez and many of may's opponents is that when the going got tough, so did chavez...while many others just mentally gave up, chavez would fight every second of every round and his pitty pat shots wouldn't of done **** to chavez

people forget that chavez had really good defense too, but he was a pressure fighter so of course it seemed like he would always come in head first......

name me one fighter that has dug into floyds body the way chavez would've....castillo did it a bit and broke a few ribs and beat mayweathers ass, just imagine what chavez sr would've done...

comparing pea and taylor to floyd is ridiculous, floyd aint as active as neither one of them...speed and a lot of activity bugged chavez, but he was a working fighter and would almost always find a way to win.......

The Pea fight was at welterweight, past JCC's prime and well into his "three bitches and an eightball every night" phase.

I take prime JCC over anyone at 140. Look at how much trouble Castillo aka JCC Lite gave PBF. JCC is JLC x3.

Great matchup. JCC could cut off the ring and go to the body well. I don't think he would head hunt PBF but rather attempt a sustained body attack which would be his best plan of attack. At the lower weights pick em at 147 PBF.

Great fight, I always leaned toward Chavez over Floyd but it would depend on the weight.

    130 could go either way
    135 I favour Chavez
140 I lean toward Chavez but it could go either way
    147 I favour Mayweather

Chavez would wear out and eventually KO FLoyd.

    Prime for Prime JCC> Mayweather.

You will get that a lot with rip..what he post the first time is usually all he has, so he just leaves it at that when someone can refute him..which is pretty often.
