The version of Morales in the 3rd Barrera fight and 1st Pacquiao fight before he was too damaged from wars and making weight. Against the young possibly somewhat green Chavez at 130.

I have Morales pulling off the upset by outboxing Chavez. Morales was a hard puncher with one of the greatest chins in boxing history. Morales absorbs Chavez shots and does not go down. Chavez will try and pressure Morales. But gets hit coming in and has to slow down his workrate to avoid further punishment. Morales uses speed and reach advantage to win on points.

Did you miss your appointment with The OZ or something, because it seems you don't have a boxing brain?

Chavez is not knocking out Morales. If that's what you're thinking. Outside of Arguello I don't give anybody 130 and below much shot of stopping a prime Morales.

Morales was not prime at 130.

Morales was prime 122-126. 130 he was still good enough to beat Pac. I think even a green Chavez at 130 would have been too much for that version of Morales. Morales could have possibly outboxed him, but he would have gotten lured into a slug fest, where Chavez would have outshined him. Chavez stops him.

I grew up watching JCC, he was one tough son of a gun. He's one of the best body attackers, Morales wouldn't be able to keep him off. JCC by points or TKO on 9th.

Totally disagree with Scarecrow. Chavez too skilled, too strong. Morales too willing to trade. Chavez by late TKO.

Nobody stops a pre Raheem Morales. Except maybe Arguello.

Chavez doesn't hit hard enough to stop Morales. Even Pacquiao who's faster, stronger and better conditioned than Chavez was couldn't stop Morales until he had trouble making the 130 pound limit.

Except Pacquiao has better attributes than Chavez did. And he couldn't even stop Morales in the 1st fight.

Pacquiao hits harder than Chavez. He's faster than Chavez. He sustains a higher workrate than Chavez. Meanwhile Morales is pure granite chinned.

But yea somehow Chavez can just pressure Morales and finish him. Nah.

Arguello I could see landing a massive bomb and hurting Morales. But that guy was a concussive puncher.
