How do you consider Chavez overrated, and not say Pacquiao?

    Pacquiao's top opponent wouldn't make Chavez's top 3?

What would happen is Pacquiao by UD or late TKO. You are completely overlooking Pacquiao's speed and leg movement which is far superior to what Chavez offers. You can take a look at their achievements too and Pacquiao completely blows him out of the water, Pac only needed 57 fights, not 142 and robberies in every major fight.

Chavez 1980 - 1994 was probably the most dominant streaks in boxing history

He loses to no-one outside of the all time top 10, at his peak. Least of all a fellow brawler

Chavez' biggest fights were robberies and drawberies..

Chavez has no win on his record the caliber of Barrera or Morales.

And pac retired the dude who retired chavez.

How can you not?, I mean you see a thread like this clearly trying to spit on Pacquiao's entire record, that's beyond negative right there.

Dominant streak?, he needed like 80 fights to finally step up, right?. Even when he did, it was controversial.

this is the same Taylor, who, if he had boxed and not being intent on showing that he was a Philly fighter, would have won?!

Have you seen Chavez vs. Whittaker?

Pacquiao's speed and movement is amateurish compared to the Sweet Pea. Not in the same league.

Chavez handles Whittaker but not Pacquiao.......................hahaha

The actual truth is, the only reason Whittaker lasted 12 rounds is he's very good at not getting hit.

The thought of Pacquiao's defense against Chavez is scary

Depends what weight, but Chavez's prime was 135 even though he didn't do to bad at 147. His bodyshots would of been havoc for Pacman and equal Pacman's straight left. If Pacman decided to trade with Chavez, I'd favor Chavez. Pacman boxes him, Pacman wins through the distance. Salvador Sanchez? He was Mexico's best and favorite son before Chavez came along and IMO and a growing number of fans who hadn't seen him fight before see he was more talented than Chavez. He just wasn't the best Mexican fighter he along with Willie Pep are considered the best featherweights. Pep and Sanchez were good enough to beat Pacman.

DLH > Chavez prime 4 prime.
Sweetpea > Chavez prime for prime.
Duran > Chavez prime for prime.
Morales > Chavez prime for prime.
Barrera > Chavez prime for prime.
Pacquiao > Chavez prime for prime.

Beating hector camacho doesn't make you a boxing legend, it makes you a proud mexican.

    Hahahaha, hilarious.

I honestly don't think Barrera or Morales would even rank in Chavez's top 5 opponents?

Again, this is a debate about what would happen. Not what you hope would happen.

Pacquiao goes in with Margarito and gets in trouble.

Pacquiao goes in with Chavez and gets abused

Being a Manny Pacquiao fan doesn't mean you know anything about boxing, pre 2009.

Manny's best opponent in his entire career wouldn't even rank in Chavez's top 5.

Funny how you actually think Miguel Cotto is better than Camacho!
