This is the fight I want. Both similar size, could prob be at 168 or a catchweight. But who wins. I think Pavlik in a great back and forth fight.
50/50 fight so far on voting. I think chavex comeforward style will play into Pavlik who will ave alot of success with the right.
would love this fight i voted for chavez at this stage of their carreers but im a pavlik fan so id be rooting for him
me too. i think pavlik still has it. I think he could even be better than he was before if he can stay on track and learn from garcia
i'll be the first to admit that jr is starting to grow on me. he's showing me something as of late and i like the way he drives right in and bangs away to the body. but lets just make a couple things very clear. kelly pavlik is not manfredo or rubio or lee. kelly has been in the ring with guys who were top p4p fighters. pavlik is bigger and stronger. if they meet at some catch weight of, say, 166ish, jr is going to be surprised when that first right hand lands. he won't be doing any showboating like he was against lee. pav will stop him late in a very entertaining fight.
Chavez has never been hit by a true middleweight like pavlik and if he struggled and got bruised up with a guy like rubio,then i can only imagine how bad pavlik would beat him up.
Pavlik went toe to toe with tough guys like miranda who hit twice as hard as chavez and destroyed them.
