Mark my words, trust me. Chavez only showed that he has power, if he moves up he's finished for good.

There'll be more than just his power he'll have to worry about. He'll be a sitting duck for them, too. His movement and activity is almost non-existent. He just plods forward and follows you around.

It doesn't help that the majority of top Super-Middleweights have GRANITE chins. Froch, AA, Bika, Kessler, Ooshuizen etc.

    Yep

Agree'd , he will be obliterated by the elite @168 and have a handful of dull affairs against the contenders, he's reliant solely on size and strength mixed in with a bit of boxing ability, he doesnt have enough in the locker to go up in weight successfully

Arum will make Chavez Jr Pavlik right off the bat

Yeah, i was just talking in terms of how effective his power would be at the above weight.

He should steer clear of Froch and Kessler for sure.

I wouldn't Bika likes to make his fights rough, Jr. was crying by round 3 about shots on the belt line against Martinez. Imagine him against Prime MW Hopkins or Ward, the man would be an emotional trainwreck by round 12.

Ward would take his heart. Honestly if it wasn't for that KD in the 12th round, then i would be confident in that Chavez Jr. would never be the same again, because lucky for him he got that KD that could give him a bit confidence
