Do you ever see this guy breaching the top ten? I saw him fight on Saturday. He looked alright, except he was in there with a mediocrity.

Personally, I think that he's an ok fighter, but at age 26 and with 20 fights, if he has any potential, now's the time to start showing it.

I dont know really, but right now id say no. He started very slowly and his opponent was giving him a pretty good fight until he gassed out. I have a feeling he was just starting to find his range when the fight was stopped though.

I'm not sure what kind of potential he really has. I suppose time will tell. I'm terribly impressed with him though.

Witherspoon has a lot of potential - the question is whether he will realize it or not. I don't think he has the greatest power at HW, but he seems to have solid boxing skills, and good athletic ability.

He is undoubtedly one of the better American HW prospects out there now, and may turn out to be the best. But I agree with others - he needs to step up the competition in the coming year if he expects to progress to the top level.

I think hes a pretty good prospect, and has a chance of beating one of the weaker belt holders in a couple years.

Not impressed to be honest. Seems a little slow, doesn't throw enough punches. When he lets rip he seems ok, but he had dead meat in front of him in his last fight and he didn't manage to impress. If you cant impress against that fat dude then your chances are slim IMHO.

I've never been impressed with the guy. I've seen him 3 or 4 times. As of now he's living off the name.
