Cheap Protein..

    Any suggestions, cause we all can't have NY Strips on reserve in the freezer haha...

    Right not im just having fish, chicken and turkey as my main protein..

    Tuna fish out of the can? This is really cheap..... Otherwise you will probably have to purchase protein powder in large bulks to cut the per serving cost.

    Trust me both are nasty but they definely work. If you are working out hard Protein is so important along with a balanced diet.

    Depends. If you're only gonna use a whey protein shake once a day after your workout, I would go with this: $40 (free shipping as of now) and it has roughly 80 servings. That's pretty much three months worth right there.

    so i had dinner the other night with a nutritionist. she told me that protien building muscles is the biggest myth going, SHE claims that the only thing that makes muscles is exercise. and no she didn't mean that you can't just take protein and grow muscles, she said it didn't help period. looks like we're all pretty dumb.

    If your aussie kill a kangaroo that's in your local bush. Put it on the BBQ and there you go. Doesn't get any cheaper than that.

    Well iv actually heard that loads too. Googled it when i was deciding weather to take protein or not and decided against it in the end. Aparantly the average person needs 10-15% protein in their diet and even if you are trying to build muscle then anymore than this doesnt help aparantly your body just wastes it. I reckon a balanced healthy diet is the way to go. Theres also lots of articles supporting protein supplements too but there usually got advertisments for them right next to the article a little biased dont you think?:yep

    HAHA , lol im over in aus at the moment and tried kangaroo for the first time the other night and it was ****ing delicious. Beautiful meat. Took a while after i ordered it tho i think they had to chase it round the car park first.

    Just because someone has a degree, doesn't mean they know what they're talking about. That nutritionist sounds like the dumb one.

    comming from a very deep backround in bodybuilding and dieting...i cannot believe you even let that come out of her mouth...frist off what the hell is her credibility...second i hope to god your not paying her to write you up diet plans...third due to scientific research protein does in fact repair, build, and replenish your muscles..also...protein is almost the building block for your whole entire body...hair, muscles, almost everything! you can work out 8749837874987 times a day and if you dont have protein you are not going to build muscle mass...everytime your muscles go through a workout your are getting fine tears in your muscle fibers....thats why you get sore...amino acids are the building blocks of protein...protein is the building blocks of muscle....wow! who da' thunk it?!?!?! and that six star **** sucks...go to sams club get 6 lbs of EAS for 28 dollars its over a hundred servings...or if you want go to bodybuilding.com and get ON 100% whey protein in a 10 lb bag...a little bit pricier but well worth it...it has a total bcaa blend in it....so who cares?! well glutamine the most abundant amino acid in the body transports protein to the muscles more efficiently and in bigger doses..."oh yeah prove it" well go anywhere and type in articles on glutamine...it also promotes protein synthesis which is increases muscle mass...it decreases muscle breakdown...and decreases recovery time after a workout...so whoever this lady is ask her if she bought her degree or certification...and if she didnt then tell her to see her credibility in front of you...hey but who knows people make up religions all the time...so why not change the scientific studies done everyday like people change religion...
