In the past 25 years there have been two monsters punchers that stood above everyone else at Jr middle to super middle and that Julian jackson at 80% and Gerald McClen at 87% anyone that got cracked by these guys were not considered glass jawed, just victims gifted punchers . that brings us to Stephenson who's KO ratio is 81% , one percent above julian jackson and 6 percent below Gerald.

It would be stupid to think that all three of these fighters opponents where bums with Glass Jaws .

No one is going to have the greatest set of whisker getting hit by someone with power of that magnitude .. Doubt even the great marvin hagler would try and take that hit head on , like the one that tore Dawson from his senesces .. And really he quit against ward.

It is hard to imagine guys like Hagler or LaMotta, even Carl Froch, getting floored by the shot that took out Dawson. You seem to forget his shaky whiskers had already been exposed by the light-hitting Ward of all people! And he'd tasted canvas before that against Adamek.

Dawson had already been shown to have a fragile mandible BEFORE Stevenson starched him, and removed all doubts about his lack of punch resistance!

Hagler would be smart enough not to get caught with a shot like that , Froch on the other hands eat many shots and it would be in his best interest to stay way from Stephenson. Lets ask this question, when has Froch faced someone as explosive as Adonis with that kind of power ?

Hopefully Froch would have enough brain matter in his scull not to charge a fighter as powerful as Adonis head on. Hey didn't froch get his ears boxed off by a feather fisted Ward ? anyway that another story.

Everybody can get knocked out, but not all fighters take a punch the same. Look at the bombs that Guillermo Jones took from Lebedev, now compare that to Alekseev who got knocked down three times by one punch of Lebedev.
