I am very disappointed in the Jacobs camp. It taints the whole match for me because it creates a built in excuse for GGG if he loses and it makes Jacobs look really bad if he loses. I actually like the ten lb rule because it doesn't allow for ridiculous weight advantages between fighters. I think that all sanctioning bodies in all divisions should adopt the rule. It's not the same fight for me. I will still watch it but not with the enthusiasm I once had.

Not cheating, actually it's a smart way of trying to gain an advantage. Not sure it's going to help much though, so no need to froth at the mouth over it...

hahaha MFS are scared. I thought GGG was knocking out hws in training camp. fighting someone around 175-180 on fight night shouldn't be a problem.

he could have told ggg in advance that he wasnt going to make the ibf weight limit and then they could have not fought for that and ggg would be helf to the same standard

What is your definition of cheating?

Mine is trying to gain an unfair advantage through questionable means.

GGG himself supposedly doesnt rehydrate much over 170 anyway so the IBF rule is not even an inconvenience to him, so its not really like Jacobs tricked him into doing something really hard for both and then jacobs avoided it while GGG had to put himself through an ordeal. Jacobs is just trying to show up on fight night as the best version of himself that he can be. Im glad that there are no excuses for Jacobs and that assuming he wins, GGG gets all the credit he deserves.

yup he knew months ago he was going to do this, he should have told ggg, they could have taken the ibf belt off the table and both wouldnt have to make the 10 pound limit

but he is a dirty cheater and i hope he gets seriously hurt

    Hopscotch!
Unless there was something in the contract that relates to same day weigh in, I don't see what the big deal is. Jacobs is not beholden to G for anything outside the scope of the agreed contract! Jacobs understands this and so should you!

10 pound limit? So there was something stipulated for the IBF , but not the actual contract?

ugh so it suits him to act like a women and hold up ggg's career with he's bs mandatory, but when it comes to the ibf he can game the system and cheat to gain an unfair advantage?

you have to be honest about your intentions, no respect for this women who feels he might die if he faces ggg on a level playing field

    jacobs has shown weakness

listen he knew full well he was never going to make the 10 pound limit, if he was a man he would have said this early and the ibf could have been taken off the table and both wouldnt have to follow it

instead he acted like a lying like girl trying to gain an unfair advantage, he isnt a man

Well I don't wish harm on Jacobs because he seems to be a reasonable good man outside of the ring.

However if he does suffer tonight to the point where medical intervention is needed - with the paramedics rushing forward fully equipped with oxygen tanks, defibrillators and stretchers scattered around in a stricken panic amongst chaos whilst ggg is standing over his motionless body - then all I can say is he'd have brought it all on himself and there will be no tears.

seen the documentry in the build up to the fight, i think chris and danny are lovers, you can sense the repressed homosexuality from across the atlantic
