    Disappointment, maybe he didn't train hard enough?

    I'm not surprised he's gutted, he just got clowned by the biggest underdog on the card.

    Guillard was finally fulfilling his potential, riding a nice win streak and getting mentioned as a title contender. Less than a minute after he steps in the cage, it's all gone.

    Well the biggest underdog thing should be a non factor its made up of people who seriously dont have a clue. I picked Guillard to win but told everyone who would listen do not count out Joe Lauzon. Why would you ? This guy has been around awhile, he has dangerous power as proved when he shocked a still high level Jens Pulver, his submissions are top notch agian proved by him submitting about a half dozen guys in the UFC. J-Lo is always dangerous especially in the first few minutes because he fights so aggressive.

    :good

    Lauzon is one of my top five favourite fighters. I really like his fighting style and the way he conducts himself in general. The guy has won Submission of the Night FIVE times, won Fight of the Night bonuses THREE times, and won Knockout of the Night once.

    Not only that, but when he competed on TUF, he owned a less-than-one-minute knockout victory over the other team's coach. But the only time you even heard him mention it was once, when he shrugged his shoulders and essentially said "Anything can happen in this sport." The guy is all class, and he is great to watch in the cage.

    I think Guillard knows he didn't give himself the best chance of winning because he became an egomaniac and way too confident. Jumping all over the shop trying to look flashy.

    Guillard sucks. Always has, always will. I'm blown away that anyone ever had any faith in this guy. He doesn't own a brain.

    I usually don`t support chincheckers but his chin is abysmal the first punch he gets hit with stuns him. Also his mentality is a big problem I think he didn`t take the fight seriously

    this is exactly it, in the video its more an expression of him losing the fight rather than lauzon winning, guillard knows he has the ability to be better than lauzon but he ****ed up, his octagon IQ is not the best

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl:patsch

    When one has a Chin as abysmal as that dried horse**** Guillard is rocking, it should never come as a surprise when one gets starched early on. His Chin is a disgrace to MMA and he'd do better to retire rather than continue to get embarrassed by more joke punches.

    I like him to. Like you said love his style inside and out. Lauzon is confident but he doesnt talk **** he just goes in and takes care of business. With the Pulver thing honestly had it been me id probably have rubbed it in that I had knocked out the opposing teams coach. Not Lauzon agian he was worried more about the task at hand. I always wondered what happens if he had say Frankie Edgar type cardio ? Look at his UFC losses to Sotiropoulus, Florian and Stout he started very strong agianst all 3 but gassed out, had he kept up the intensity and energy he displayed in rounds 1 agianst those guys he probably beats all 3. Joe Lauzon is a force and has been a force in this divison for awhile.

    I can't prove it but as soon as I saw him, I thought chill out. I was suprised his people were letting him get so carried away. This loss should teach him to respect every opponent. This is fighting after all.
