    all british fans will know about our beijing gold medalist but for those who havnt seen him heres one of his early fights. he does slap a bit bit he has good skill, speed and power. let me know what you think. plus check out some of his other fights.

    He's way too confident and arrogant at this point. He employs the same tactics he did against his last opponent when he steps up, he will be knocked out.

    Also, he looks too small for Super Middle...maybe if he moved down to Middle...

    Yeah he looks good, But hasnt been that active this year, only 2 fights so far :/
    For the record, Kubin looks like an alien

    nothing wrong with confidence or even arrogance. thats his style. trust me he works hard enough to back it up. this is an example of his ko ability. the last few fights you can tell he's been trying new things. working on defensive techniques and ring generalship. i reckon his next fight will be explosive like this one.

    in what way does he look small. he's over 6f tall so he has to stay skinny. if anything he could do with moveing up in weight and adding more muscle.

    Groves is so much better. You'd think as a giold medalist he'd be much better, but he isn't. Thought hes still ok he just wont reach the top elvel. Also agree with the guy who said he looks to small for a SMW.

    but at the same time, whilst he looks to small I dont think he could strip down to MW without it harming his performance level.

    he looks no smaller than andre ward. if he was so small he wouldnt have the power. he's been ko'ing everyone in sight.

    Ward has a much bigger build than DeGale. Ward is almosy stocky compared to DeGale.

    all fighters have diferent builds. it doesnt mean one is stronger or tougher than the other. also degale is deseptivly well built. he looks skinny because his torso and waist is slim but he has broad shoulders and a big chest. and with out getting too gay about him he has realy big calf muscles. thats how he generate so much power from so low down.

    He arms are pretty damn thin for the weight to.

    Ward is more dense, more muscular and hence stronger in the ring.

    dont get me wrong ward is better but check out his other fights. degale has big power ijn both hands that he generates from standing position. he doesnt dive in head first like ward because he's agile enough to land from distance.

    Nothing wrong with confidence and arrogance. But when your walking your opponent down with your guard down(whilst taking shots at this level), or trying to impress the fans by putting on a show. You're there for the taking...he will not reach World level by doing this.
    His KO ability? He has ok power, but he's not a KO artist by any stretch of the imagination. Look at the level he is fighting at, he would have been blasting these guys out with one punch if he had 'ko ability'...

    And yes, he does look too small for Super Middle...compare him to guys like Abraham, Froch, Ward etc...not just in terms of height...but these guys look like they are in a division above him. If Warren rushes DeGale, and DeGale doesn't take the fight night more seriously...he will be upset...

    some hard hitters have been skinny!!!
    what about paul williams, amir khan, nathan cleverly, ray robinson, hearns, trinidad, whitekar. ect ect skinny doesnt always mean weak!

    alnother example.... compare calzaghe to jeff lacy. its about boxing ability and stregnth. not build.

    Khan has vastly overrated power. Cleverly isnt a notified hard hitter, neither is Williams, neither is Whitaker. :patsch
