[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGOhvuUQUMs&feature=related[/ame] check out our prospect james degale
Lefties who can bang are certainly good to watch Rjko. Be careful not to overate the opposition he's been knocking over though - have a look at guys he's beaten and look at their records - particularly after they fought him: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=482498&cat=boxer (I get the feeling he hasn't beaten anyone with anything to offer as yet) Still, an exciting looking prospect, and will be interesting to see how he goes next up against Dilks.
yeah couldnt agree more. you cant meassure him yet because he's fought journeymen at pro level. but he did win a olympic gold so he does have some pedigree. although it doesnt garentee success it means he has a lot of ability
Will check it out Josey. Really like the look of him by the way - just saying it's early days for him in the pros.
I think he has all the tools to make a decent World Champion , depends on how he fills out over the next year or so imo . same as Cleverly at L/Heavy ,Bomber Bellew is another fighter i think could make a name for himself on the World scene . Bellew v Clev will be a fantastic fight down the road . imo
DeGale i have always thought has the potential to go right to the top in professional boxing. Time will tell how far he goes, but sky is the limit & Frank Warren will slowly be stepping up the comp for the young lad. You poms are producing so much fine young talent at the moment, i expect a bright decade ahead for the UK.
Yea i hope your right there Kagsy, your lads at the World Championships will be looking to take advantage of their fine efforts as well i should imagine . A strong Am scene normally indicates a few tidy pro's down the line ,(not always but the potential is there ) .
yeah its for prospects its the best weve had in a long time. whats the aussie scene like atm. abviously there katsidis and green. anyone alese worth a mention?
English Amateur - he was probably already on 100K Pounds sterling a year in 2006... My fiver offer wouldnt hold LOL
Well he lived at home with his folks and drove a shitty car in 2006. So i would guess you are a little bit wide of wide of the mark. As a fighter, he is looking ok. Groves would have beaten all the boys hes fought too though. Think against the best he may lack power, but its early days.
