and tell me why he is suppose to beat Miguel Cotto...

    Luis Collazo W
    Fernando Vargas x2 W
    Jose Luis Cruz W
    David Estrada - W
    Winky Wright x2 -L
    ODLH -W
    Raul Marquez -NC
    Vernon Forrest x2 -L

I like Shane but people on here are giving him too much credit.

With the exception of Estrada and Cruz, they are all worlds better than anyone Cotto has ever faced:yep :good

One has to look at and analyze styles to determine fights...resume isn't everything.

Got blown out by Forrest, beat by Winky and should have lost against ODLH.

I like Shane Mosley but let's be real...

Becuase he's had more then just those fights.

If you pick fights based on resume's, you're paying attention to the wrong thing. :deal

What should I pay attention to? Most of his other work is south of 147...

All those guys have a shot at beating Cotto. Who has Cotto fought in his last 5??

Zab - Rusty and coming off of 2 losses.
    Urkal - basically a journeyman
Quintana -good win, but a former sparring partner
    Mallinagi - good win
Abdulev - never did much in the pros.

And Shane beats them all. :good

So was Cotto's till recent. Either way, pay attention to how he's looked and how he lost. Basically you're saying becuase he lost to Winky and Forest x 2, he'll lose to Cotto. That makes no sense.

Cotto's looking great @ 147 so far, but keep in perspective that it's been against Quintana and Judah.

Exactly. Looking at Cotto's resume doesn't tell me much either. Mind you that list isn't any better than Mosleys. We have to compare skills, experience as well as resumes

What is wrong with this resmue? Losing twice to elite southpaw fighters much bigger than him? Please, this resmue suggests a world class fighter.

I'm a huge Cotto fan, but I will not and can not knock Mosley's resume. I believe it is Mosley's Resume that will in fact project Cotto into super stardom after Cotto wears that ass out.
