Those who totally write off Roy's chances are not very knowledgeable on the sport of boxing.

Joe should win but Roy could win.

I think Roy will win more easier than people think he will.

The term "shot" is thrown around a lot, but in this case, it is necessary.

Jones is just a shell of his former self. His legs are completely gone. When you are a reflex speed fighter and you lose your legs, your footwork, your game is completely lost. All he is now is a fighter with fast hands and decent punch arsenal, but his legs are simply not there. The upper body movement that made him so difficult to hit is gone too because of that.

I think Calzaghe is going to embarrass Roy Jones and you CAN quote me as saying that. I find it annoying people have not excepted Calzaghe for the great he is. I think what somebody said on here once really made a lot of sense in that yes Calzaghe may not have much power in some of his fights but if someone can keep winning without having much power then that should be a testament to their great boxing skills. I think that the Bernard Hopkins Joe Calzaghe beat was tougher than the one Pavlik lost because Hopkins had to make 170 for the fight with Pavlik.

I myself can appreciate Calzaghe ..I became an instant fan after the Mitchell fight ..But I have been a long time Jones fans sinc the Seoul Olympics ..And I have to disagree the Hopkins that Joe fought was the SAME Hopkins that fought Kelly ..The diffrence is Kelly is green Calzaghe is not !I'm picking Jones by UD because im hoping he pulls out one final great performance ..For Joe win or lose he's already an ATG in my book !

    Respect !

After seeing Calzaghe sturggle to beat Hopkins in his last match, I am now giving RJJ more of a chance to win. I feel Jones will have success early on against Calzaghe, similar to Hopkins in that respect, but as the fight goes on, Jones' workrate will start to diminish and Calzaghe will then take over. It would be nice to see Jones spark Calzaghe early, I just dont see it happening.

Bhop beat him with almost no workrate at all...Roy is a sharper puncher, a better counter puncher, faster with the hands, and even hits harder. I keep saying that I doubt Roy would have taken this fight with so much enthusiams if he didn't see something that he feels like he can exploit while watching the Hopkins fight. I really really really can't wait to hear all the talk after the fight here on the board.
