    He's probably one of the best boxers to put on a pair of gloves, but not the best... how can you buy into this? Malignaggi even said he would whoop Cotto in a rematch

    Hey this is coming from a professional boxer himself - who has nothing to gain either way. He was just saying what he thought ...

    You think respect from one of his peers is not going to matter but the opinion of a guy that probably never even box his whole life and is just a fan does?

    You may say that SRL would give him fits ... but who's to say that SRL won't pay homage to Floyd.

    But you didn't read what I wrote and you're coming back with some elementry response ... If SRL said that Mayweather wouldve been great in his era ... would you then say SRL doesn't know what he's talking about and is punch drunk?

    I would say hes just about right.
    Floyd would be competetive in any era, he's one of the greatest of all times, SRL, Hagler AND Hearns were all great in that great era, Floyd would've been great, but he wouldn't have been the #1 of the era.

    im not sure if your being sarcastic or if your being serious.

    You DO realise that great fighters say stupid things all the time right? even fighters who have FOUGHT both fighters, and are 100% sure one is going to win, often times couldnt be more wrong.

    I dont care what SRL says... he would whoop floyds ass, and so would hearns, hearns i can understand as hes a big guy.... but im just going off what malignaggi says.

    but PBF is a WW and is shorter in stature than SRL, Hearns, and Hagler.

    add to that those guys finished there careers well above WW ... SRL was able to go down to 154, but Floyd has reached his peak at WW ....

    But as you're one of the guys that thinks Floyd would totally blow Cotto away @ 147. Let me ask you this, comparing Floyds wins at 147 to the greatest 147lbs'ers, does he fit in the top10 WW ATG?
