    Yeah ... he beats Cotto easily ... you act as if Cotto's so big or something ... Cotto's shorter and smaller built than Floyd. Cotto is nothing special ...

    Yeah I give Floyd a chance against the top 10 WW of all time ... simply because when it comes down to it ... he's not going to rely on his physical attributes ... he's coming in there to rack up points, win rounds, and win the fight. If a KO comes, it comes, but Floyd Mayweather is soley focused on boxing.

    Don't say **** about the rounds either because he can go past 12 rounds - he's in that good of shape.

    Alot of the fighters of old were good at one thing and used that to the best of their abilities ... Floyd is good at everything.

    He may not beat every one of those top 10 WW but i'm sure that he makes the fight competetive and doesn't get knocked out. His defense is too good ...

    It would take a very special fighter to beat him ... and Cotto's not it ... you would have to make an unrealistic match up between Floyd and legend of old to even come close to finding someone to beat him or convince yourself that they can beat him.

    mallignaggi is a tosser,hype merchant,talks big,fights average,if he fought cotto again when he wasnt weight drained he'd be destroyed,stopped in 6.

    Floyd knows he wouldn't beat SRL, Hearns, or SRR at welter. Its not even a fair comparison, his best weights were 130-135lbs.

    You can't fault him for saying he would win, like he said if you don't have that mentality as a boxer you wouldn't have success.

    No way Mayweather can be compared to a Hearns or SRL.. Floyd doesnt even fight anyone who pose's a threat to him.. Paulie's just mad 'cuz Cotto beat him and is now going for Mayweather..

    If Paulie told you Mayweather could beat a Pavlik or Calzaghe, would you believe him? All I ever do is see you try so hard to make Floyd look like the best damn thing that ever happened to America.. I've never seen someone so far up on Floyd's nuts..

    I'm guessing Paulie would choose Mayweather over Cotto :yep but on a serious note. It doesnt really mean much that Paulie said that, i'm pretty sure there are other profesional boxers, perhaps better than Paulie who think other wise. I know Mayweather is one the greatest, but it is simply impossible to know if he is the greatest, and i think it is absurd to say something like that.

    I wonder if Money Malignaggi thinks he can beat Mayweather . . . that's neither here nor there.

    On a sidenote I will say PBF beats Tommy Hearns and SRL. Say what you will, but Tommy wasn't smart enough to beat PBF and he couldn't adapt in the ring. Floyd does a lot of what SRL did, just better. PBF MD15 SRL.
