Its definitely worth asking anyway, thats some dent, those same thoughts entered my head when i saw it.
Is it really a depression? I'm starting to think that it's actually a lump and the shadows are playing tricks on the eyes. Making the optical illusion of the shadowed part as depressed/dented. Just a thought.
Divac and theboy_racer... To put your minds at ease, Team Montiel played mind games with ND and his handwraps. They had not one, but TWO commissioners inspect the wrapping. Check out his last 4 tweets on his twitter account... # I want to give up 2 things to God: my win last night and also Montiels speedy recovery for his zygomatic bone... http://fb.me/S0GCFosm 3 minutes ago via Facebook # Thank u to God for all the blessings He has given me. Thank you to my team, my fans, Undisputed, Snac, And Vuqo!... http://fb.me/UZE8hfSx about 19 hours ago via Facebook # For real? They r trying to make us re glove now even tho 2 commissioners r watching just bc . Let's just get in the ring! about 22 hours ago via Facebook # Montiels camp trying to screw with ourhandwraps. Commission is watching n approved it. Cm on! Stop with the games! about 23 hours ago via Facebook ........So stop with the conspiracy theories
As I stated, I'm not accusing Donaire, but I'm bringing it to light because in my over 30 years of following the sport, I've never seen something as specific as a dent on another fighters face, usually you see swelling right away from a fighter who's gotten hit that hard. ......and as you see, the first thing a ******* would do is call me a goon for bringing it up, when what I want is others opinions and most importantly if anyone can remember seeing something like that on another fighter.
I think that there's someone unseen maybe a poker ghost who's still on vacation poke his finger on Montiel's right temple that leaves a dent on it.
It looked like Donaire punched through montiel's face ..I hope he is OK after taking a shot like that .
Interesting you would note that because it does the opposite of what you had in mind, it does'nt put me at ease, but it actually leads back to my earlier post in this thread that was speculating whether Roberto Garcia had wrapped Nonito's hands with the ridges he himself was protesting against Pacquiao vs Margarito........ Remember Roach protesting DLH having tapes between his fingers for the Pacquiao fight, that tape creating the ridges???? Roach protested against DLH, but then he put that same wrapping technique and used it on Pacquiao's hands in his subsequent fights....... Could Roberto Garcia being turned down by the commision when he protested against Pacquiao, have put that same wrapping technique, created ridges in Nonito's hands, and thus the reason why team Montiel was protesting? Something to think about?:think
seriously cant you just give a boxer who has some sort of lineage to filipinos his props for literally obliterating a great mexican boxer instead of finding all sorts of excuse on why the mexican lost. seriously, youre a ****ing disgrace to mexicans.
Then you just come off as a hater and a backwards thinking conspirator. Plain and simple that his handwraps were approved by two different commissioners because it was made an issue by the opposing team thus causing a delay. Clearly if there was suspect hand wrapping, Nonito would have never made it in the ring. I don't give a **** what happened in other fights, DLH, Pac, I don't give a ****. If his wraps were approved by two commissioners, especially these days in a time where everyone has their ears up for it, then be rest assured his wraps were fine. Get over it.
