Whats good Brit ESB family? The three letter networks (HBO to you and me) top honcho Ross Greenburg, fresh off of trying to redeem himself from getting caught in reluctantly having to corroborate Bob's side, is reserving a January 29, 2011 date for Bradley vs. Alexander for all the f*cking marbles at 140. I don't have to elaborate to my completely dialed in ESBers of what this means!! HBO is telling Devon not to press and risk getting squared up vs. the points' stealer in Kotelnik...just win and 2011 will be poppin! Finally some clarity.

Okay for the slothful in this building, I'll elaborate just one of my 10 point inspection: Jan. 29, 2011 is a proven date between the last NFL playoff game and one week before the Superbowl. This is a guaranteed date to fetch an additional hundred thousand buys for USA football (Rugby in tights and helmets to us) fans cocooning down in their house and getting their adrenaline high. Looks like Team Bradley is boxed into the proverbial corner. Devon, according to HBO and yours truly, is the LOOK going forward. So they just might do this.

I hear all of you already, saying hold up Slip. We've all heard about it on the scene, but not sure if we should believe it just yet. It should happen given that Floyd's out for the year, HBO has enough money to force a fight like this to happen. But seriously, do you actually think Devon's going to listen to HBO and not press the Kotelnik fight? Plus the fights happening to early...Kotelnik and Abregu (at WW) aren't the right build up fights you want to make it a little moneyspinner...

Well, my fellow Iselaffans (German term) fellow Brits by birth and highlanders by the grace of God...it really doesn't matter. Alexander is so goddamn torque wrenched up at 140 that a little more polished version of Malignaggi (or what's left of Kotelnik and that hit or miss focus of his) will not affect this fight. Fait accompli or as we in Blighty say, "done & dusted." So Alexander either presses the walk down from 7 on or simply has fun outclassing and out sticking from 8 on. Where you at dirty arse Bradley, the LOU is coming...you head long, baby Holyfielder?

So, cheer up fellas it's been a long frustrating old summer, but the other 'best fight in boxing' looks a goer. :good

I'd be surprised and impressed if he stops Kotelnik, he's gonna have to invest in the body attacks because those earmuffs make it very difficult to find significant openings. Expect a slightly more competitive Pacquiao/Clottey, might be a snoozer as well.
