She got what she deserved. Initially raped, then her terrorist uprising was crushed by the authorities.
Not even close!!! It wasnt even the best fight of the weekend let alone the fight of the year who so far is Estrada vs Gonzalez II and by a mile. Still a lot left in the year though.
Brilliant scrap Cheeseman is always in a good fight and Metcalfe will have won over many new fans on the weekend. The British domestic scene at 154 is superb..... Fitzgerald, Fowler, Cheeseman, Metcalfe, Conway, Eggington. Some real good fights to be made.
I gotta say, though, I hope Metcalf is OK. They both took heavy shots but Metcalf could have some lasting damage from that scrap. I hated to see one of them lose, they showed so much heart.
I posted something like this during the bout. It's all well and good to see a slugfest, but Cheeseman in particular is ALWAYS in a slugfest; just look at his face which proves it. And he's only 25. I said during the fight that Metcalf needs to start looking for another line of work. He takes way too many head shots. OK he's Irish so there's not much in his skull (LOL just kidding!) but surely this team needs to keep a close lookout for his health.
I thought Estrada was in the fight of the year last year too, so he's overdue for the recognition but this was second place for me and I doubt it will slip out of the top 10 by the end of the year.
Metcalf gives me a Ruslan Provodnikov vibe. Not as talented but similar style and determination. Like Ruslan, I suspect he will not have a long career. Let's just hope he doesn't become Glen Tapia.
