Fair play Edday, putting on a good card on paper

But I fear both fights could be one sided beat downs. Ritson has nothing at 140, and Cheeseman will walk onto Fitzgerald's punches all night. Hope neither of them get hurt

Eddie is in danger of putting on a decent non PPV UK card.

His interviews post-Rose he said things to imply he thinks he's a shoe-in to fight the winner. In terms of public interest, that makes sense, doesn't deserve it though in a boxing context.

Tempted to go this show, not that far from Newcastle. Very good fight.

10K arena, cheap seats (probs £40) still have a good view. Arena very close to city centre, loads of bars around.

I agree on that -- all comes down to whether he is dedicated enough. If Fitzgerald worked as hard as Fowler we would have a serious fighter on our hands

Yep, good card. Nice to see some solid domestic fights on a Saturday night

I don't really rate Cheeseman tbh, Fitzgerald should win easily if he's fully focused.

With Newcastle away from home Ritson will sell plenty, proper cliche but they get behind their own up there.

Throw Fitzgerald and Cullen in there, both seem to have a decent little support who won't mind a weekender in Newcastle.

Hopefully Kelly gets added to the card as well...

    This is beyond Cheesemans level.

Even if he comes into the ring in the right frame of mind, and tries to apply what he has been taught in preparation. He reverts to type as soon as Fitzgerald nails him.

Fitzgerald by a UD. It won’t be as convincing some will expect it to be though

This is all assuming that Fitzgerald doesn’t go back to his own bad old ways with drink and drugs.

tbh I had Fowler beating Fitzy even with the KD, Fowler just has a lot of haters..

People act like it was a clear win?? It was bloody close and could have gone either way, Fitzy didn't deserve to lose, but neither did Fowler really.

The Spaniard would whoop them all, easy work and twice on sunday

FFS the Spaniard would probably beat any 2 at once LOL

Cheese vs Fitzy is a genuine 50/50, don't know what Fitzy has done to make him such a big favourite, the bloke is as average as they come

Did we forget the dispicable Morris fight, where they absolutely stole a win from Morris with a terrible british stoppage???
