For the millionth time, Canelo vs Floyd was an extremely close fight. I recognized how close it was but I also recognized that Floyd did enough to win the fight. There is nothing about my view of that fight that is biased or unreasonable. In fact, the only posters who have viewed that fight unreasonably are the ones who argue it was a Floyd shutout, a Floyd schooling, or a dominant Floyd victory. It wasn't that, so don't get me started on that again or insinuate that am biased in how I view that fight. I went to great lengths to show how close the fight was on a round by round basis, and how unbiased I was, I did timestamps of several of the rounds in that fight in great detail. don't be ignorant and try and act like it was such a dominant Floyd victory. That's being biased towards Floyd ! Floyd had his hands full with Canelo all night, vs a drained Canelo which was the only way Floyd would fight him, Canelo gave Floyd a lot of problems, but it was not Canelo's night and I've never argued Canelo won or even that it was a draw. All I said was that it was a close fight, which it was. And if you don't think it was then you don't know **** about boxing.

Now with that being said, lets get back to Canelo GGG rounds 4 and 11. I'll take a look at round 11 and get back to you. If you have time, please take a look at round 4 again, give it another look, if we disagree on how close it was or that Canelo should have won it we can break it down in greater detail.

 

You ****ing dip****. It wasn't remotely close. Floyd dominated and humiliated Canelo. It was one of Moeny May's most dominant wins. Go suck Canelo's dick more. If you think that fight was close there is no convincing you to change your mind for any rounds against GGG.

 

Dave Moretti scored Floyd Canelo 116-112, 8 rounds to 4 for Mayweather.

The other judge had it 117-111. 9 rounds to 3 Mayweather.

Throwing out the Ross card, because that's not taken seriously, that's still two legitimate judges that had the fight relatively close. Looking back through Floyd's career, ask yourself how many fighters won 3 or 4 rounds vs Mayweather. Not many ! Therefore it was one of Floyd's closest fights based on that alone.

The rounds that I gave to Canelo were rounds 2, 3, 4, 10. Round 6 and round 12 were pretty much toss-ups. Floyd had a big round 7. The other rounds I think it's fair to say that Floyd edged giving him the win. That's what happened ellerbe, I don't know why you're so offended by this. I've given Floyd his props. And if you think it was a dominate win for Floyd I don't know what to tell you. Canelo was feinting Floyd out of his mind. I counted about 35 clear feints that Floyd flinched to thoughout the fight, 20+ of which in the first several rounds. Floyd was very nervous early on in that fight. He did settle down though and by round 7 he appeared to be on his way to winning, but the ease of his victory has been exaggerated and it was a lot closer than many people like to admit.

Say what you want of shadow but he is one of the few posters who will dissect a fight and come with facts and speak logic.

I give you props for at least going through the rounds and listing the punches you had both fighters land. Shadow just writes a 10 page essay on a round instead of doing this, and since no one has time to read his bull**** he tries to claim a win.

Did you realize who's aggression was more effective?
Did you not see how GGG was unable to cut off the ring and was following Canelo around?

Landing more 5 more jabs doesn't equate to winning a round.

Score the round properly and come at me.
