So clearly Floyd CHOSE to fight a guy he knew to be OLD and PAST IT. Now he's signed on to fight Ortiz calling him "the best out there," but has yet to say WHY Ortiz is the best out there. All he's said about Ortiz is that Ortiz is "a young and hungry lion" and the cherrypickin' truth came out when Floyd giggled and said "I can't wait to destroy this KID". Gatti, Baldomir, Judah look like cherry picks now, but they were actually given a chance against him, just as some are giving Ortiz a chance. All that proves is he's a master of exploiting hype to get himself a good payday. Fighting opponents after career best victories would only mean something if he was fighting the best fighters. He never fought Tszyu, Margarito, Pac, Cotto, Paul Williams after their best performances/great wins. He did however fight Baldomir, Gatti, Ortiz, Marquez. His fans need to stop grasping at this, it really is meaningless.
