If you think PAC was cherry picking Marquez then you're what uncle Roger call...you don't know **** about boxing.

Sugar Ray Leonard opting to fight Roberto Duran instead of Mexican KO king & master blaster Pipino Cuavas who was the WBA 147LB champ at the time & Duran was a blown up lightweight veteran of 72 fights approaching 30 + no 135LB fighter had ever successfully navigated to the 147LB title since Homicide Hank 40+ years before & Duran smacks SRL all over the ring:D

Jose Luis Castillo-Herman Ngoudjo, kid was 14-0 at the time and was rather average looking. Took Castillo to the wire and lost a razor thin split decision in a fight that was supposed to be a tune up for Castillo. Unfortunately everyone thought that it meant the kid was really good instead of the real fact that Castillo was completely shot to ****.

Danny Green-Antonio Tarver, Green was going to try to do another old man execution in Australia and got the living **** beat out of him.

Tommy Morrison-Michael Bentt: Let me just show you:

Daniel Dawson-Frank LaPorto, not sure if this one was a cherry pick or a mandatory gone bad for a regional belt. Dawson got his ass kicked by a guy who I don't think was in the top 200 in the world at 154. Anyway, Dawson lost the fight and Austin Trout kicked the **** out of LaPorto.

Also, **** the ****** who's going to say James Kirkland-Nobuhiro Ishida. Ishida was a world title holder prior to the Kirkland fight.

Or the ******* mantra that the reason that Marquez seemed to win was because he fought "better than expected" .

:deal not only that but I'm pretty sure he had been undefeated for 20 fights or so before he fought Judah.

Anyone think Green Vs Tarver is a good one? Pretty sure they expected green to do to tarver, what he did to jones, however it didn't turn out that way.

    Holmes Vs Mike Spinks?

One for the future IMO is Molina Vs Kirkland. Most people expecting Kirkland to knock Molina the **** out when I can't see anything but Kirkland getting schooled

Don't know about the first one, the second one was a for Thompson's IBO belt so that isn't a cherrypick.

Thompson was well past his best and haye was expected to beat him. Maybe cherry picked isn't the right word. A tough stepping stone?

Holmes was the champ, Tyson was only a few months into his pro career at that point.
