    I don't remember who were Pac's available options at the time but I will say this: Team Pac, before the fight, assumed they were gonna steamroll over Marquez. Marquez is pushing 40 yrs old. He looked terrible at welterweight when he fought Floyd. He was also badly knocked down by a lightweight and many felt going into a third fight he'd get absolutely destroyed by Pac. Roach predicted a KO within the first 3 rds. Pac needed a KO to compete with Floyd's star power. Pac was supposed to retire Marquez. If it wasn't a cherry-pick it was at least an embarrassment as Marquez pulled the rug from under Pac's feet.
