It will always be the job of the winning promoter to promote the fight, obviously. He will use what he has at his disposal, which is his fighter where-as he can't tell the opposition to do anything beyond that is contractually agreed. Hennessey I imagine isn't saying anything because he knows it's pointless bringing it up, wheras FW felt the need to do so. By the sounds of what Fury has been doing he's actually going beyond what's asked of him, he knows the significance of the fight and is trying to make great strides into the general market. I don't rate him in the slightest as a boxer but he certainly is good at making an impression on the casual sports fans.
Of course it's relevant. His own fighter is doing something which your friend [Frank] had criticized someone else's fighter of.
I think Frank has taken a stance since none of the 'away' fighters turned up to that presser the other week.
This is a Hennessey fight. It has nothing to do with FW. FW was promoting the Degale/Groves bout, of which groves was a part. As such he was well within his rights to criticise him. Now Chisora is not doing any promotion work.. because obviously it makes no difference to him either way as he doesn't have to. Chisora is a grown adult responsible for his own actions, it isn't the responsibility of FW to castrate him for it.
