Hey ya'll I am moving to Chicago in July and I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on good bars to watch fights at because I won't have HBO or Showtime at my new place. Thanks ahead of time for your input.

good spot, but i don't if there are any ' boxing bars ' around there. Its costs a fortune for the bars to show fights and its not worth their while unless theres a big crowd - it that area the bars are all full of drunk cubs fans.

Theres a bar on Addison and Pulaski ( 3 miles west of wrigley) called Brudders that shows all the good fights - $20 cover

Alright thanks I appreciate that, I'm sure I will be going there often. ya your right man I was in Wrigleyville for the first time last month and I have never seen an area so engulfed in a sports team before in my life. My boy was wearing a tigers hat and he was getting yelled at constantly.

...or basically any bar showing a poster for the fight card on their window. The southside has quite a few bars showing televised events, but there should be some in Wrigleyville. Even Champs is known for showing events here or there.

Yes, go to Aragon on 7/11, then again on 8/8... :good

    ...and 7/25 if you're bored...

  14. Chicago is more into the Bears and Cubs, and White Sox who won it all in 2005, than boxing/ fight's the best fight towns are New YORK-Jersey and of course Vegas...
