I know this is a really random question, but is turkey breast just as good for you as chicken breast?
There are no vitamins and minerals in meat that solely exists of protein. There could be some vitamins solved in the fat of meat but that's a long shot as well judging by what most consumption animals are fed, and it would not apply to chicken or turkey breast either. To answer the question, it should be viewed as equal. Both very complete protein.
Chicken and turkey both contain vitamin B3 and B6, phosphorus, and selenium. They also have different amino acid profiles. http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=116 http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=125 Vitamins in beef: http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=141
Yes that is correct, but you'd have to eat more than the breast which is what people usually eat. The breast is just protein and vitamins can't resolve in protein. Then again there is some water in the chicken breast that may contain the vitamin b but as far as I know most water is injected to pump it up. As far as amino acid profile goes, they are more or less equal as both are complete animal proteins.
